God is love.
Formalised religion, deep vows, subscribed practices. Obligatory worship or practices to gain love, freedom, peace, or the entry to heaven.
Authority over the self, rather than finding love, God, truth, and freedom within.
This has been my personal experience, and the movement within from institutional religious practices to a heartfelt personal spirituality.
Having traversed through a Catholic upbringing, into Buddhist meditation and faith and yoga philosophy and practice, I felt the call to come home to my heart, and the call to know the truth for myself.
The Divine is love. Love is free. We are embraced.
There is nothing to do to win this or sustain the freedom that I seek.
Born into a strongly anti-religious family, the yearning of my soul as a child to belong as part of my spiritual/family was split.
Not understanding why my parents wouldn’t take me to church, I hitchhiked along with my primary school best friend on a Sunday so that I could open to the Divine.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that
